1. Who we are

Heavy Equipment Review Hub (“we”, “us”) operates the website at https://heavyequipmentreviewhub.com. We are an independent review publication and are not affiliated with any dealer profiled on the site. This policy explains how we handle personal information relating to visitors and to people who submit reviews or other messages.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Visitors

The site is a statically generated publication. It does not require an account, does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not include third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs, which may include your IP address, user agent, the pages requested and timestamps, for security and to operate the service. Fonts are served through the hosting platform at build time, not loaded from third parties in your browser.

2.2 Reviewers and correspondents

When you contact us or submit a review, we receive the information you choose to send, which may include:

  • your name or chosen display name and your email address;
  • the content of your review or message;
  • any documents you voluntarily attach to support a review.

3. How we use information

  • To moderate, publish and, where requested, correct or remove reviews.
  • To respond to correction requests, dealer enquiries and other messages.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the site.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with the dealers we review, except that a published review necessarily displays the display name you chose.

4. What is published

If your review is published, the display name, title, review text, rating and review date you supplied are shown publicly and included in the page's structured data. Your email address and any supporting documents are never published. Supporting documents are deleted once a moderation decision has been made.

5. Retention

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter it relates to and to maintain a record of moderation decisions. Published reviews remain on the site until withdrawn by the reviewer or removed under the review policy. Hosting logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard practices.

6. Service providers

The site is hosted on a third-party cloud platform that processes requests and server logs on our behalf. We do not use other processors for visitor data. Email we receive is handled by our email provider.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information. Reviewers may ask us at any time to amend or withdraw their review. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. If a contact channel is not yet configured, requests cannot be received until one is in place.

8. Children

The site is intended for adults purchasing commercial equipment. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Dealer profiles link to the dealer's own website. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
